Thespians

Troupe #2476 is part of the International Thespian Society (ITS), an honorary drama organization for high school theatre students. A student can become a member of the SPHS Thespian Troupe by earning points through participation in stage events in middle school, high school, and community theater. Students must attend monthly meetings, held on the first  Friday of every month, to remain in good standing.  This Fall, we will meet weekly on Fridays during club time (11:30-12:10a) to discuss various topics.  See the fall calendar of meetings here.

A formal induction ceremony is held in May.

What Do Thespians Do?

The Thespian calendar is full from September through May, with Improv Club, SP Cares, Cappies shows, the Fall Musical, One Acts, and culminating with the Cappies Gala in May. Thespians support a specific charity every year through their activities, raising funds and sometimes participating in hands-on activities that support their chosen charity.
